The U.S. Embassy Tanzania’s PEPFAR Office is pleased to announce that funding is available through its Ambassador’s Fund for HIV/AIDS Relief (AFHR) with funding from the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). This is an open competition. Outlined in the “AFHR Notice of Funding Opportunity” PDF linked below on this page are PEPFAR Tanzania’s funding priorities, the strategic themes on which we focus, and the procedures for submitting a proposal. Please carefully read and follow all instructions included in this document.
Proposals will be accepted for the FY 2024 AFHR Grants until June 30, 2023, by 11:59 PM East African Time to PEPFARGrantsDar@state.gov. Applicants must complete and submit the AFHR proposal template and AFHR budget template, Word version of the AFHR proposal template, and the Excel version of the AFHR budget template. These documents can be found linked below on this page.
