Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program

Are you Eligible?

You must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements in order to apply for this program for the 2021-2022 cycle (now open):

Be an English Teacher
Be between 21-30 years old
Earn a Bachelor’s degree by June 2020
Have excellent English communication skills
Speak fluent Kiswahili
Have excellent academic track record
Be able to discuss and showcase Tanzanian culture
Be willing to travel without your family for one academic year
Be willing to teach Kiswahili at U.S. institutions
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
