About AWE East Africa Regional Summit

Academy for Women Entrepreneurs East Africa Regional Summit 2023 celebrates the achievements of the East African countries that have conducted the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program. We look forward to hosting participants from Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. Tanzania welcomes you!

The main purpose of the Summit is to acknowledge the successes of AWE in the respective countries as well as a celebration for five (5) years of AWE in the region. We hope to extend business collaborations and networking opportunities with fellow AWE participants from the Lake regions.

To facilitate better comraderies and jumpstart network connections, we are organizing 2 online networking sessions prior to the main event. These networking sessions will be conducted in June 2023. The format will be speed networking where participants will jump around 5 times meeting different participants each time from different countries.
