Effective October 6, 2020, the U.S. Embassy in Dar es Salaam will provide limited routine American Citizen Services (ACS) appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for passport and Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) applications. We are not scheduling routine appointments for visa or notarial services at this time.
Applicants for passport and CRBA services should complete an appointment request through : https://evisaforms.state.gov/Instructions/ACSSchedulingSystem.asp. Appointments will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please see here for information on passport services and here for information on CRBA services.
To limit the risk of spreading COVID-19, visitors to the U.S. Embassy must wear a mask at all times when on the Embassy compound and practice social distancing whenever possible. Please also note that electronics are not permitted on Embassy grounds and that no parking facilities are provided to members of the public. The Embassy strongly recommends that those seeking consular services plan to utilize public parking, arrive by taxi, or use the passenger drop-off point located in front of the consular entrance to the Embassy compound. Visit our Embassy webpage on COVID-19 for additional information.
